We're excited to share that the Alaska Small Business Development Center (ASBDC) has spotlighted Pacific Kelp Co. as an example of sustainable innovation! The feature highlights how we're transforming Alaskan Giant Kelp into powerful and sustainable products for farmers, gardeners, and all types of growers! The relationship we've built with the ASBDC has been a crucial resource for us as we've navigated permitting, financing, and the overall business environment in our new home state.
Features like this from the ASBDC not only help us to build awareness of the awesome products that we produce in Alaska, but also highlight the strong backing we have received from key organizations in Alaska.

While we wait for the results of several dozen ongoing trials with University and commercial partners, we wanted to share a quick update on some at-home testing that we just wrapped up - this time with Zucchini grown in hydroponics!
Just look at the difference in root mass between the Kelpex treated plant on the left and the plant without Kelpex on the right!
Testing continues to demonstrate that Kelpex promotes strong root development on all types of plants in all types of growing mediums! Follow us on Instagram @PacificKelpCo for more frequent trial updates!
A sneak peek at our busy Q4!

We're ramping up our efforts to sell Kelpex all across the USA in Q4!
We'll be attending conferences and trade-shows in Q4 where we'll have an opportunity to connect directly with growers and farmers and are excited to learn more about the issues that they are facing. From issues with heat stress, low-yields, to even drought, Kelpex is a powerful tool that farmers and growers can use to improve their plant health, yields, and profitability.
Later on in September we'll be visiting our experimental plots at Cornell University and will have a chance to see early results from our turf grass trials! We'll also have the opportunity to connect with our research partners and other early adopters of Kelpex.
Finally, for those of you in the Seattle area, we will be showcasing at One Ocean Week during the week of October 20th. We're looking forward to our showcase pitch, and to wrapping up our awesome time in the Washington Maritime Blue incubator.
